Sometimes I forget that most people who read this don't use facebook! I forgot to post some pictures from Facebook on here. We started recording on May 26th! It was pretty nerve wrecking to be around people you respect so much. I'm going back up in a little over a week for about 10 days to finish the recording up. This picture is of me in the amp room doing scratch tracks....and breaking strings :)

So it's been a long time since I've posted anything of my own that is of great spiritual insight. I guess I've just had too much going on to really stop and think of something profound on my own. I think life has a tendency to do that to us. I will keep posting song lyrics though. I'm almost through writing for the recording project. We start in two weeks....so I should be finished already!! Two more songs to tweak and I'll be done. Anyway....I miss everyone in Indiana. I love where I am at...but I miss my family and friends. Time for sleep!

CD Project Update!!

Hey everyone!! I wanted to update you on the cd project. Space has been reserved at Spaceway studios! Lot's of fundraising will need to happen. I will be sending out letters soon. Of course I don't know everyone's addresses....so I will also set up a website. A few facts on the project:

Number of songs: 10

Producer: Will Hunt (Shane & Shane, Shawn McDonald, Bethany Dillon, Derek Webb, and many others)

Mixing Engineer: Shane Wilson (Third Day, Switchfoot, Mercy Me, David Crowder, and he just mixed Chris Tomlin's upcoming cd)

Drums: Will Hunt (Drummer for Shane & Shane)

Bass: Todd Cromwell (Bassist for Shane & Shane)

Electric Guitars: Steve Miller

Keys: Chad Copelin (has worked on Shawn McDonald projects as well as others)

The amount of money required to do this is more than I had expected. However, I believe with all my heart that this is God led and God inspired. I do believe the funds will be made available!! I look forward to seeing this come alive and using these songs to minister to people. Talk to you later!
